Founded in 2020 by Emelie, a Swede turned Londoner, Whatsyourcosy was a dream grown from a lifelong passion for design & interior styling which was finally realised after the arrival of her second child at the start of a global pandemic. 

 

Since arriving in London on a rainy November evening in 2006, Emelie has gained over 15years worth of experience in the commercial and hospitality interior sector. Having worked for both manufacturers and dealer in furniture and high end bespoke artworks, she understands the demands of the market and the importance of the highest level of service along with a personal touch. She has delivered a multitude of successful projects in the UK and internationally.

It all started with a question - what's your cosy?

For us, it's perhaps the never ending bright summer nights or the long dark winter days that make us Swedes appreciate those little things in life, that little bit more. The concept of being cosy is as much part of a Swede's cultural heritage as ABBA, meatballs and general simplicity. We even call sweatpants 'cosy pants' [mysbyxor].
